Re: Obiang out for the season
He's probably not in the depths on depression, but being rich, desired by beautiful women and eating marvelously well isn't everything.

99%, maybe, rounded off to 100% by a good game of football...

I voted for the first time and he won! Fucking great goal, hit about as hard as I've ever seen.

I hope winning cheered him up a bit. Well, he's probably sitting having dinner in an Michelin-starred, open-roofed, tiled restaurant in his shirt-sleeves at one in the morning somewhere in Spain with his model girlfriend, but you know what I mean.

Fuck me, he only won it.

Didn't bother voting, as I thought it was fixed, after one of Payet's best didn't win

Agree not as important as those two but who exactly will replace him in the side? I think we missed him Saturday. Just an opinion. We need better longer term but he gets through a lot of work and is more mobile than most in the squad even if not the quickest.

Kouyate, Rice or Zab seem to be the only options alongside Noble and again IMHO none of them are as effective in that role.

Hopefully Moyes will devise a system and pick a team that can keep the ball better. On Saturday we could not get out of our own penalty box and when we did we turned back around again. A lot of that was Hernandez and unfit Antonio not giving an outlet but our lack of movement in midfield and inability of players like Kouyate, Antonio and even Hernandez to pass accurately at times had us all head in hands.

When you compare to other teams, we are still the slowest in possession.

Squad is a like a piece of swiss cheese.

Re: Obiang out for the season
thankfully we've got a better squad than Arsenal and Liverpool and can take such injuries in our stride

Re: Obiang out for the season
Not a key player in Moyes' system

It's Arnautovic and Lanzini we can't cover for

Re: Obiang out for the season
The so-called offer for Dendoncke was a repeat of the Carvalho nonsense last summer.
Sullivan's transfer window maneuvering is simply unacceptable and could well lead to relegation this season. He should be hounded out of the club.

They were guessing, the second scan had not been done yet.

That said, gambling that the worst will happen with a West Ham injury is pretty close to printing money.

Re: Obiang out for the season
You can't blame the board as this injury never happened in the middle of the transfer window and that they didn't have time to get someone in. Or then offer a derisory amount of £4.4m to a player that we desperately needed...Oh!

Re: Obiang out for the season
Does it matter?

It's not like we've desperately needed someone to play in that position for 2 seasons now, is it?
